Inflatable Rescue Cushion
The DSB Inflatable Rescue Cushion (or Jump Cushion) is ideal for rescuing persons from the upper floors of buildings or other tall structures when it is not possible to effect a conventional rescue. It is quick to deploy, very stable and easily transported whether packed or inflated.
The Cushion is available in two sizes, can be inflated in 30/60 seconds from a Fire Brigade standard air cylinder and when deployed provides a stable structure which has almost no bounce back and always deforms towards its centre. Intended for use by one person at a time this jump cushion has a recovery time of 10/20 seconds and is suitable for extended use without topping-up.
The equipment is manufactured by DSB who have a reputation for producing long lasting and robust equipment and are one of the largest suppliers of liferafts, fire brigade equipment and inflatable rescue boats in the world.
